I am a photojournalist and documentary photographer living and working in Sheffield, UK.
Originally from near Brighton on the South Coast I have moved around taking in Newcastle, Loughborough and Cornwall before settling in Sheffield. Whilst in Brighton I completed a degree in Environmental Science which is were my interest in Photography started after discovering books by Ed Kashi and Sebastiao Salgado. It has since been my aim to work on long form visual storytelling projects.
My career has since taken me on a slightly different path working for time in fashion and portrait photography before moving into photojournalism at agencies Mercury Press and now Guzelian Photo Agency. My work is regularly published in The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian and The Financial Times amongst other national media outlets.
I have now decided that the time has come to start a new path in photographic journey and complete the MA Photography course at Falmouth University. This blog will chart my progress over the next two years and is part of an accredited education programme. For educational purposes only.
